Welcome to the Bainville Public School Music Program website.  The program consists of general music for grades K-3, Band for grades 4-6, 7-12 Band, and 7-12 Choir.  Infused with each program is a Modern Band program in which students learn to play ukulele, guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, and electronic music allowing them to create music within the genres they enjoy.  Another part of Modern Band is the after school program Popular Music Rocks where we focus on principles from Little Kids Rock, a nonprofit organzation that works to bring relevant music to diversified student bodies.

On this site, you will find information about the program, course expectations, and learning resources.  More information will be forth coming as the website is developed.

• Spring Concert for K-12 will be cancelled due to insufficient time to prepare.
• Junior High Choir students will no longer need to complete Choir requirements because of the cancellation of the Spring Concert
• 7-12 Band students will receive and begin learning Pomp and Circumstance to prepare for graduation.
• HS Choir students will continue to meet to fulfill necessary work to receive semester credit.
• 4th and 5th Grade Band curriculum will be suspended until face-to-face classes can resume. Other work will be assigned. Students wanting to continue can arrange lessons over Zoom.
• 6th Grade Band will shift curriculum to a pep band centered curriculum.
• All recorder curriculum will be suspended until face-to-face instruction resumes. Students wishing to continue learning the recorder and progressing with the matrix can arrange for a lesson over Zoom. Other work will be assigned.
• K-5 classes will be decreased to about 10 minutes per week.
